Zac Efron se junta a Chris Hemsworth em campanha do bem

Na manhã desta quarta-feira, 12, Zac Efron decidiu se juntar a diversos famosos na campanha Polished Man. Para chamar à atenção de seus seguidores, o ator pintou uma de suas unhas da mão de cor de rosa para representar a estatística de que uma a cada 5 crianças são vitimas de violência sexual ou física antes de chegarem aos 18 anos.

Zac havia sido convocado por Chris Hemsworth, que também está nessa para aumentar o conhecimento sobre o assunto e arrecadar fundos para acabar com a violência. "Obrigada pelo convite, @chrishemsworth. Feliz por pintar uma unha e me tornar um @PolishedMan neste mês para pedir o fim da violência contra as crianças.", escreveu ele no Instagram.

Happy to have been nominated by @Liamhemsworth to be a @polishedman and bring awareness and support to a beyond worthy cause. 1 in 5 children are subjected to physical or sexual abuse before the age of 18 with 90% of that abuse coming at the hands of men. Over $500,000 has been raised for the cause and two weeks remain. All funds raised through Polished Man are channelled into trauma recovery and trauma prevention programs for children who have suffered or are at risk of suffering violence globally.
